Experience

CHUCK R. KING co-founded Travis Commercial Real Estate Services in 1998. Mr. King has more than 30 years of experience in commercial investment sales, leasing, property management and development in the San Antonio and surrounding markets.

A native of Houston, Texas, he received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation, he relocated back to Houston where he started his career in the commercial real estate industry. After a number of years with Hines Industrial, King moved to San Antonio in October 1984. Prior to starting Travis Commercial in 1998, King was employed in a variety of marketing positions with several national commercial real estate brokerage and development companies such as Transwestern Property Company, Lincoln Property Company and Cushman Wakefield. King has extensive experience in commercial real estate investment sales, participating in sales of over $300 million in investment properties over the last several years. His commercial leasing experience includes leasing over 2 million square feet in over 200 transactions. Currently, Travis Commercial is providing leasing and property management services for its clients of over 5.5 million square feet, which includes properties in all the major sub markets of the City.

King holds a Texas Real Estate Brokers License, is an active member in the San Antonio Real Estate Council and serves on the Real Estate Services Board for The San Antonio Foundation. He is a past Board Member of the North East YMCA of San Antonio, and an active member in the Texas Cavaliers.
